Abode Money Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

By signing up to be an Affiliate in the Abode Money Affiliate Program (“Partner Program”, "Affiliate Program"), you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). Please read them carefully before joining.

1. Enrollment in the Program

To begin the enrollment process, you must submit an affiliate application via the Abode Money Partners page (https://www.abodemoney.com/partners). We reserve the right to approve or reject any application at our sole discretion. If we reject your application, you are welcome to reapply at any time if your circumstances change.

2. Affiliate Tracking

Tracking of referrals is managed through Mixpanel.

• When a potential customer clicks on your unique affiliate link, a tracking cookie is placed in their browser to track the referral.
• Abode Money is not responsible for commissions lost due to the user clearing cookies, using private browsing modes, or using "do not track" settings that interfere with the website or Mixpanel’s tracking capabilities.
• The "last click" attribution model applies, meaning the last affiliate link clicked before the sign-up will receive the credit.

3. Commission Structure

• Qualifying Action: Abode Money will pay a commission for every "Successful Sign-up" generated through your affiliate link.
• Definition of Successful Sign-up: A "Successful Sign-up" is defined as a new user who completes the full registration process on Abode Money and purchases a subscription for the Property Tax Appeal Service.
• Commission Rate: You will receive a flat fee of $50.00 USD per Successful Sign-up.

4. Payouts and Stripe Integration

• Payment Provider: All payouts are processed through Stripe.
• Account Setup: To receive payments, Affiliates must create and maintain an active Stripe account. You are responsible for any transaction fees or currency conversion fees charged by Stripe.
• Payment Schedule: Commissions are paid out on a monthly basis. Payouts are typically processed by the [e.g., 15th] of the following month for all Successful Sign-ups cleared in the previous month.
• Thresholds: There are no minimum thresholds set at this time.

5. Promotion Guidelines

As an affiliate, you agree to conduct yourself in an ethical manner.

• Prohibited Content: You may not promote Abode Money on websites that contain suggestive, violent, illegal, or discriminatory material.
• No Spam: You agree not to send unsolicited commercial emails (spam) or use automated scripts to post your link.
• Search Engine Marketing (SEM): You may not bid on keywords containing "Abode Money" or variations thereof in Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc., unless given express written permission.
• Accuracy: You must represent Abode Money’s services accurately. Any misleading claims will result in immediate termination from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions. Partners and Affiliates with receive an official "Media Kit" explaining general messaging guidelines that you can use.

6. Relationship of Parties

You and Abode Money are independent contractors. Nothing in this Agreement will create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or employment relationship between the parties. You have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf.

7. Term and Termination

Either party has the right to terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice. Upon termination, you must remove all affiliate links and Abode Money branding from your site/social media. Any commissions earned prior to the date of termination will be paid out according to the standard monthly cycle, provided they were earned legitimately.

8. Limitation of Liability

Abode Money will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages arising in connection with this Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising with respect to this Program will not exceed the total commissions paid or payable to you under this Agreement.

9. Changes to the Terms

Abode Money reserves the right to update and change these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your affiliate account. Continued participation in the Program after such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
